General
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect as soon as posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read these terms and conditions on each occasion you order from us and by ordering you are signifying your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions. Do not order if you do not accept the terms laid out below.

All products on this site are intended for craft use only, they are not toys and are not suitable for young children.  Children should be supervised when using these products.

All references to silver, gold etc are referring to the colour, not the metal, unless otherwise stated.

Different monitor settings may affect the colours shades shown on this site - therefore please refer to them as a guide not an exact colour.  Colours of similar products may also vary from one to another and between batches.  You are always advised to purchase a sample first if product colours are important (i.e. card shades)

 

 

Payment Options
Payment can be made either by cheque, by debit/credit securely online, by PayPal or over the telephone.  You can be assured that the checkout and payment areas are held on a secure server and are fully encrypted.  Your card details are not saved or made available to EA Cards and Crafts at any time.  If you prefer to give your card details over the phone, please note there is a 50p charge for orders under £5.

Details for sending cheques are detailed at the checkout stage and on invoices.  Please send a copy of the order with your cheque, or write the order number on the back of your cheque.  Please send cheque payment within ten days of placing your order.  If we have not received payment after this time we will contact you to request payment.  If you change your mind after placing an order with cheque payment, please contact us as soon as possible.

Orders will not commence until payment has been received and funds have cleared - therefore paying by cheque will delay your order by several days.

*All EU orders outside of UK with a total value over £35 will be sent by International Sign For hence high costs. For other European countries outside of the EU, please contact us first before ordering.  For any countries (including Channel Islands) where we are required to complete a customs form, you will be liable for any import or customs charges that may be applicable.

Sorry but we DO NOT ship outside of the Europe (i.e. we do not ship USA, Canada, Australia etc) - please do not attempt to place an order if you live outside of Europe.

EA Cards and Crafts retain the right to increase postage costs as deemed necessary for time to time without warning, however this will not affect any orders already placed and any increases will be kept as low as possible.

We obtain proof of postage on all orders.  You should generally receive your order within 1-3 working days following receipt of our 'despatch' Email, however you must allow a period of 15 days for 1st class delivery including Recorded (this is Royal Mails T&C's)   We will not be able to re-process any missing orders until this time has elapsed.  If you require the goods in the meantime you must reorder and pay again. For extra piece of mind you are advised to select 1st Class Recorded as your shipping method at a slightly increased cost - this will require a signature on delivery, but is generally a better, faster and more reliable service from Royal Mail.  However the 15 day rule still applies.  Please note any parcels left in a place around your property as specified by you at checkout, are left entirely at your own risk.

If you need your order fast or want a guaranteed delivery, please select Special Delivery. This service comes at an increased rate but goods are delivered the next working day by 1pm.  Special deliveries despatched on a Friday are delivered by 1pm on the following Monday.  If you need your order urgently please also Email at the time of ordering to let us know when it is needed for and we will do what we can to help get it despatched as soon as possible.  Choosing Special Delivery does not guarantee immediate despatch, however all orders with this option selected will be processed as quickly as possible - please note this will also require a signature on delivery.

For orders over £50 we reserve the right to decide what method of shipping to use, based on the overall weight and size of the parcel.  This will generally either be Special Delivery or another courier.  We may also split the order up into more than one parcel to reduce costs, however in most cases you will be required to sign for the parcels.  Once you receive a despatch Email, the goods should be with you the following working day (except in remote areas of the UK which may take a couple of days).

All orders sent Recorded, Special Delivery or by other Courier that require a signature are deemed to have been delivered and the order complete once we receive proof of signature, which we check for online within a couple of days of despatch.  If you claim not to have received the order despite the tracking service showing the parcel has been delivered, you are advised to contact Royal Mail or the appropriate courier firm directly.  We will provide the necessary tracking reference details for you but will not get involved further than this and advise you to contact the police if you suspect someone has signed fraudulently or stolen the goods from your premises.

Please bear in mind that these costs include all packaging materials as well as postage charges.  By ordering you are agreeing to pay the P&P costs regardless of how much the actual postage of your order turns out to be when sent.

 

 
 

Order Processing
We aim to process orders within 3 working days following receipt and clearance of payment, however this will be subject to demand and stock levels. We will not be pressured into speeding up any orders.  Ordering via any method other than via the website will not mean the order will be processed any quicker, it will be placed in the queue relative to the time and date ordered.

 

  Your Details
As this is an online facility it is important that we have a current and valid Email address for you at all times.  This is the primary contact method and automatically generated Emails are sent out at various stages during the order process to keep you informed of progress.  Please ensure any other contact details are also correct at the checkout stage.  If we have a problem and cannot contact you easily, the processing time will be significantly longer.  On placing an order you are advised to check your Emails periodically over the next 48 hours in case we have had to contact you for any reason.  Your details are kept solely for processing your order or to periodically advise by Email of any offers that may be of interest to you (you can opt out of the automated newsletters at any time).  They are not passed onto any third party without your permission.

 

  Stock Availability
Every attempt will be made to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained for all craft products listed, and any products out of stock and not currently available will be marked as such and the 'Add To Basket' facility temporarily removed wherever possible.

Please bear in mind that a lot of the craft stock is shipped internationally so it can take several days before stock levels are replenished.

If you have placed an order and some of the items are not available, the majority of your order will be despatched asap and the outstanding goods will be placed on backorder and sent out as soon as available.  If there are likely to be any significant delays, these will be highlighted on the invoice and you should contact us as soon as possible if you would prefer not to wait.  If the goods are not due to be back in stock within 2 weeks we reserve the right to issue a partial refund rather than backorder the outstanding goods.  Any backorders will be posted as soon as available at our expense.

If you are ordering a large quantity of any particular item, the chances are we may not have all of it in stock and will need to order it in specially.  You should expect a slightly longer delay in processing your order when you have ordered bulk quantities.  In the case of mulberry papers and card stock we may hold onto that portion or even all of your order until we have sufficient stock available to prevent shades variations.  If you are concerned about any potential delays with bulk ordering, please contact us before ordering and we can advise of quantities currently in stock and timescales for ordering more.

Items may be permanently added or removed from stock at any time without warning.  If you are working on projects that may require a lot of one product (i.e. wedding stationery), it is your responsibility to order enough at the start.  We will not be held liable if a product is discontinued and you are only part way through a project.

 

 

Returns
Every item is checked by EA Cards and Crafts before being sent out, so should therefore reach you in perfect condition.

Before returning any goods for whatever reason you are required to inform us in writing. This can be done either by Email or post.

Your Right To Cancel
Y
ou are entitled to a 7 working day 'cooling off' period in which to cancel your order. The 7 day period starts the day after the day you receive the order.  If you wish to cancel and return any goods you must notify us in writing first and also return the goods within this 7 day period.  You will then be sent a refund to the value of the returned goods (excluding the original P&P charges). Please include a note with the goods showing the original invoice number. All goods should be returned in their original packaging and must be fit for re-sale - if they are not fit for resale we reserve the right to refuse any refunds.  If you fail to notify us in writing before returning goods or send them after the 7 day period, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from any refunded amount.  We will also only refund orders within 30 days of our despatch date, after this no returns will be accepted.

Exclusions
All A5 card, ribbons, strings and any products which have been specially cut to length or size are considered to be goods provided to your specification.  In these cases you waive your right to cancel or return goods.  We may consider accepting returns in these instances at our discretion but these would be subject to a 25% restocking fee as we will not be able to resell these items easily.

Items in the clearance section are non-returnable or refundable.

Damaged Goods
In the case of damaged goods, please notify us in writing as soon as possible and within 48 hours in any case.  We will replace or refund damaged goods once we have received them back and examined them.  We will also reimburse return postage costs in this case however only up to the value of sending them back via normal first class post regardless of how you choose to return them.
 

General Returns Information
Carriage costs for returning all goods must be made by the purchaser. We will not accept responsibility for any goods lost in transit, therefore recommend you obtain a free proof of postage from the Post Office whenever returning goods to us.  In the event that your returned goods do get lost, you will need to claim the value back from the Post Office.  We will not refund any goods we have not received.

Refunds will be made as soon as possible after we receive returned goods and in any case within 30 days. All refunds are provided by cheque regardless of what payment method was originally used, except at our discretion.  The cheque will be sent out by post with a refund note.

Any returns which do not have sufficient postage stamps attached will have any fees we incur in collecting the package deducted from their refunded amount.  You are therefore advised to ensure your postage amount is correct before returning - do not guess the weight.

If you ordered incorrectly and want replacement goods for returned items, these will be regarded as a new order and as such you must reorder any goods you require through the website in the usual way and make a new payment.

If your order qualified for free shipping (over £50) and you then return some items, we will recalculate the cost of the original order less the returns and the appropriate P&P fee that would have been charged will be deducted from the refund amount.  This has been made necessary to prevent abuse of the free P&P offer. 

Similarly if you order items that qualify for a quantity discount but then return some, we will calculate the refund based on the amount paid less the cost of what was kept (example: Ordered 20 peel offs at 45p each - £9.  Then returned 5 and kept 15. If originally ordered 15 peel offs at 55p each - £8.25, hence refund of just 75p) This is to prevent abuse of the discount scheme and stop people deliberately ordering more than needed to reduce the price.

It is highly advisable that if you are planning on buying large quantities of a product, to first purchase a small quantity to check its suitability.  This way if it is not to your liking and you need to return it, your return postage costs and any charges will be minimal.
